Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Tanzania invites interested buyers to submit bids for the used generator described below.

• Condition: Used.

• Location: Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) storage site, Kurasini, Dar es Salaam

Sale conditions and bid submission

The generator is offered in its current condition on an “as-is, where-is” basis.

Submit your bid either through a CRS tender box in Dar es Salaam or by email to tz_quotations@crs.org.

Clearly mark the bid “Tender for Purchase of Used Generator” and address it to:

Viewing and testing

The generator is located at TEC in Dar es Salaam and may be viewed by prior appointment only.

Because it is stored inside a storage container, operational testing will not be possible.

Bid closing date

Friday, 23 October 2026 at 12:00 noon.

Bid opening

Bids will be opened internally at the CRS Dar es Salaam office on 28 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The successful bidder will be contacted.

Payment terms

The successful bidder must pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the total bid amount within two days of notification.

The remaining balance must be paid in full within 14 days of the notification date.

Failure to meet either deadline may result in forfeiture of the bid and deposit, and the offer may be awarded to the next highest bidder.

Collection

The successful bidder must collect the generator immediately after making full payment.

The buyer is responsible for removal, loading, transportation, and any applicable taxes or duties.
