Job Summary
The Creative Officer will be responsible for developing and executing creative concepts that support the organization’s branding, marketing, and communication objectives. The role focuses on content creation, visual design, campaign development, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. This position requires creativity, strong design skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into engaging visual and multimedia content.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Create, adapt and finalise minor creative artworks e.g. Job ads, Tender Notices, simple product artwork and all E-Shot campaigns for Internal and external communication, including resizing to fit specifications.
- Proofread, select and check colours on all Bank artworks, making sure that each page of the Bank’s artwork and the document as a whole, is uncluttered and well balanced
- Convert files and send the final product to the Bank’s Printing Companies or Web Agencies for online publishing for File Format enhancements.
- Manage storage of copies of publications and artwork relating to the Bank’s communication activities.
- Stay up to date with design trends and digital best practices to introduce innovative ideas that improve the bank’s creative approaches.
- Support basic video editing or animation projects when needed to support digital storytelling or promotional campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs, maintaining alignment with visual identity standards and tone
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Creative Arts, Marketing, Communication, or related field
- Professional certification in graphic design or creative software is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in creative design, branding, or content creation
- Experience working in marketing, advertising, media, or corporate environments
- Portfolio demonstrating creative and design work
- Strong graphic design and creative concept development skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Strong visual storytelling and branding skills
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
